PRICING, REFUNDS, SERVICE FEES, & POLICIES

You are entitled to cancel your order. A processing fee will be assessed for paperwork initiation and completion of $25.00 plus any applicable mileage fees, at the rate of $0.62.5 cent.

In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement in writing.

We will reimburse you no later than 30 days from the day on which we receive the request to cancel and or returned goods. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY:

All refunds take between 1-10 days business days (weekends and Holidays are not included) based on the method used to pay the invoice. Depending on the length of time between payment and refund, we may have to issue a cashier's check rather than refund with the original payment method.

  1. We reserve the right to cancel any transaction for any reason at any time during the process. Upon notification of our exercising our right to cancellation, you will receive a full refund.

  2. Failure to pass the Knowledge-Based Authentication Quiz or the Credential Analysis process will not be cause for you to receive a refund under our refund policy. No refunds will be processed or rendered. You will have the option to add a credible witness and reschedule the session for an additional fee.

  3. It is the responsibility of the signer to determine in advance of booking a session that a remote online notarization will be accepted by the receiving agency. A refund will not be issued should your receiving agent refuse to accept the remote online notarized document(s).

  4. Please note some email services put the invitations from the platform into your junk, spam, or promotions folder. Refer to your email provider for instructions for adding senders to your Safe or Approved List. The claim to have not received the email invitation is not a valid reason for a refund under our refund policy. If you need us to resend emails or have other concerns or questions, please contact us by phone or email.

  5. If you make payment on an invoice and do not schedule your session within 7 business days, your order will be considered abandoned as a such not subject to any refunds.

Conditions for Replacements, revisions, corrections & returns:

In order for the goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • Please notify us in writing of any issues with services rendered or work performed within 10 business days.

  • Any work or services rendered with errors we will correct them at no - cost.

  • Failure to report issues and corrections required based on receiving agents' instructions will not be grounds to receive a refund.

  • Our team of notaries is dedicated to upholding accuracy and adhering to all the legal requirements of the state in which they are authorized. In the event that an error occurs on the notarial certificate provided by you or requested from the notary, R&S Cornerstone will arrange for a complimentary session to rectify the mistake. However, if the error is due to the signer's oversight, such as requesting an acknowledgment when a jurat is actually needed, this will be treated as a separate transaction. A new invoice will be issued and a fresh session will need to be scheduled. If you fail to reschedule within 10 days of being notified, further arrangements will be required.

The following goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.

  • The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, for example, goods which deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.

  • The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. You should send the goods to the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.
